Fine Art Nude Photography

By Srinivas Nudurupati

According to me photography is certainly one of the most artistic things that are invented by humans. I think most of you agree with me on this point. Any body who has a bit of artistic taste will appreciate good photographic arts anywhere in the world. There are people who see these arts as an investment also because of their increased demand all over the world.

There are many different types of photographys which try to bring the best of the scenic beauty, nature beauty and of many more. Any photography needs to be very creative to get the applause from the people who watch it.

Fine Art Nude Photography is a type of photography which tries to bring out the beauty in the nudeness of both women and me. Even though the beauty of nudeness is mostly been associated with the women, Fine Art Nude Photography also deals with the nudeness in the men.

When seen with the artistic heart you find that that the nudeness has got a very unique and special beauty which none other possesses. When the nudeness is been exposed in the beautiful hands of nature; then that must be the best possible treat any bodys eye can get.

One can really admire the beauty of the nudeness when it is been treated in an artistic way. Many experienced photographers in the field of Fine Art Nude Photography feel that, black and white nude photography gives more treat to the eyes of the viewers than the colored ones. They feel that if the snap is more close to the reality then it is going to certainly get the appreciation of the viewers.

The models in this field of Fine Art Nude Photography will be normally the teenagers. The photographers will be ready to pay huge amounts to the models who has got that great appeal before the camera.

The models shouldnt be feeling shy to expose their beauty before the camera. The cooler they are, the more beautiful the snap will be. If some body is interested in doing modeling, then this should be the best field to start with as the returns are more.

But the Fine Art Nude Photography is banned in several countries in the middle-east and in most part of Africa. The market is hot in US and UK. As the people are moving into the modern societies, the governments all over the world are also looking at this as an acceptable profession. Hopefully 5 years down the line all people around the world gets a chance of enjoying the real beauty.

Teach Your Children - Without Them Knowing They Are Learning!

By Barbara Ellis

The great thing about children is they absorb knowledge like a sponge. The downside to this is that they are typically wise to the fact that they dont want to sit down and be taught, fortunately as parents we can think of ways around that! Here are some great ideas of ways to promote learning with your children.

Read with your child, or better yet, take turns reading to each other. One-on-one reading is less common at schools and your child will benefit from having the extra practice time. Try to keep the books at the same reading level as your child is at, or one step below. The goal is to make it a pleasurable and relaxing experience and in doing so there is a greater chance that they will read as a hobby and not just when it is required. If your child does not like reading novels, read magazines or even comic books. The content isnt as important as them developing the skills to be able to read fluently.

Have your children write letters to friends and family. The other option is have your child find a pen pal to encourage writing, there are places online that you can find other child that want to correspond and have their basic hobbies and such listed so you can pick one that is well matched with your child. Have your child write letters to family members about new things that are happening with them, the first day of school for example and add a picture of their first day. Send them off, and yes with a real stamp! Its a great way for you child to build up their vocabulary, writing and spelling skills.

Have a family night and play board games that encourage spelling. Scrabble, Upwards or Boggle are some great examples. There are also versions of these games and many more like them for younger children.

These are just a few ideas for how to create a learning environment for your children. The great part about learning is it never ends, no matter how old or young you are there is always something new out there to explore.

Is Home Schooling Necessary to Protect Your Children from Violence in School?

By Lance Winslow

About four years ago, I read an interesting article in a Home Schooling online newsletter. It seems a parent who choose to Home School her kids in Denver CO, area was discussing that one of the reasons was the violence in the schools. She took her kids out of school long before the Columbine Massacre there not more than 25 miles from her home.

One gentleman online stated; “The Liberals have neutered our Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice systems.”

Obviously this statement comes from the perspective of a Christian Home Schooler parent and of course he is speaking to the issues of the concept of nothing being wrong or right, simply perspective based.

Many would agree with him and the lady from the Denver area also, as this could be said to be at least partly true, political correctness, takes away personal responsibilities. It is not Johnny's fault that he brought a knife to school, because he grew up with a rough childhood. Indeed that is a consideration.

I spoke recently at a High School in TX to a noon-time FBLA Club and they had metal detectors in the school as I went in. Interesting I thought. The kids seemed fine, I did not feel threatened but that reminder of the metal detector made me think about the changes over the past 20 plus years.

I think as a parent I would be concerned indeed. I asked about it and they said that nothing had happened this year only one incident after a football game in the parking lot, but hey its Texas right and you know their football. Apparently a couple of years back there were a string of incidents, gang related there. The teacher-advisor of the club did not go into details, but said the faculty was afraid too, it got that bad.

Yes, you are saying so what, one HS right? Well if you read the local newspapers as you travel the nation, these are not uncommon occurrences anymore; happens all the time. Perhaps one of the very good reasons for home schooling; allowing your child to get on a bus should not have to be a risk.

One bus driver from Little Rock, Arkansas told me that the new seatbelts self-retract, but as they are to protect in an accident and keep kids in their seats, they also are being used as a weapon and used like a sling to hit other kids crossing in the isle.

There will be problems there too. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.

Accredited High School Diploma

By Richard Romando

An accredited high school diploma is a diploma offered to a student who has successfully completed high school education from any of the accredited universities or colleges across the United States. An accredited high school diploma is becoming more and more important as it is the minimum educational requirement for a candidate applying for either higher education or jobs. The surveys conducted in the United States prove that a person who has a high school diploma earns more income than one who doesnt have.

Students can earn an accredited high school diploma through traditional on-campus education or distance learning programs offered by various colleges and universities in the United States. Though there are a large number of institutions offering high school diplomas, great care is to be taken before choosing one.

Immigrants into the United States may very often not have a high school diploma or the ones they already have may not be acceptable. Such individuals may earn an accredited high school diploma from a genuine provider. Students who are not resident in the United States also can earn this diploma via online services. The accredited high school diploma is a valuable asset when applying for a U.S. visa or Green Card.

A list of some accredited high schools that offer diplomas by distance study is available free from the Distance Education and Training Council, formerly known as the National Home Study Council. An accredited high school diploma opens the door to a world of opportunities, and acts as a stepping stone to higher education.

Tutoring For Americas Children

By Matt Maginley

America's high schools are obsolete. By obsolete, I mean that our high schools- even when they are working exactly as designed- cannot teach our kids what they need to know today.

- Bill Gates, Chairman Microsoft Corporation, addressing the U.S. Governors 2005 meeting

An alarming statistic in American public schools is that only one out of every three ninth graders graduates with enough skills to do well in college and work. Of the remaining population, one-third of the students will drop out of school, and the remaining third of students will graduate but will not be able to handle the challenges of college and work. Research conducted by the International Mathematics and Science Study reveals that American students go from high rankings worldwide in elementary school to averaging by eight grade, and finally plummeting to the bottom by high school.

What does all this mean? Unfortunately, these low rankings mean that American students graduating from high school are unable to deal with the expectations of college and work, struggling and losing competitively to growing industrialized nations such as China and India.

Bill Gates is one of many people involved in bringing public attention to this important issue, running pilot programs in high schools, mainly in experimental schools open to Gates techniques.

Right now primarily in California, Gates was choosing schools to see if the demographic makes a difference in how the children learn, and the way the schools is designed. I had a chance to discuss learning preferences with a professional in the cognitive perception area. She also works with teachers to make them more effective, and points out that we all learn differently and there is no one way to learn. We all agreed that it was a widely held belief that something needed to be changed in the American public school education system, and it needed to be done fast. Perhaps Bill Gates, who started on this project about 12 years ago, was heading in the right direction.

At a recent talk at Stanford University, Bill Gates talked about how we enjoyed an edge in education because we had brilliant minds come here to learn, and then provide teaching assistance. However, we have lost that edge as those minds have left the United States, and we have now made it tougher for higher education students to immigrate to the United States. There is also a burden on our school system form illegal immigrants that need to be educated.

There is a trend underway that attempts to remedy the shortcomings of the American public school system through independent and private tutoring companies located in the United States and offshore. Some of these tutoring companies, because they provide supplemental educational services become supplemental services providers and are recognized by the various state department of educations wind up providing services that are paid for by schools with federal funds that come from the US Department of Education. I am a parent with two children with very different educational needs. I was really frustrated when I asked my local school district to help me locate a tutor to teach one of my kids that was classified as special needs. I was told that to avoid a conflict of interest they would have to post the opening and see if anyone responded. In the meantime I saw there were many tutoring companies offering services, and asked about them. I was told I could use them, but that the school district could not endorse any of them, or use them for this particular situation.

Then, at a parent conference with the special needs director the question came up again from someone else, Where can I find a tutor? and the answer was the same, the school district could not recommend anyone, I decided to get the information together myself and make it available to parents.

Increasingly there are parents concerned with their children's education from the standpoint of the grades they are getting, and the effectiveness of the classroom instruction preparing them to be competitive for a scholarship and to get into the college of their choice. Tutoring is not just for remediation and catching up. Tutoring, like coaching, is for those who want a completive edge to be able to do their best and achieve their highest potential.

The bottom line here is that both parents and teachers want to provide good education to students so that they can handle lifes challenges and to achieve their best. Tutoring programs help students overcome limitations and excel in school.

Top Ten Distance Learning Resources

By Thomas Nixon

Distance learning is growing by leaps and bounds. Keeping up with all that it entails, determining which are good programs and which are not, and having a community of other distance learners means checking out what is available on the Internet. After all, online learners tend to spend large chunks of their days cruising the information superhighway.

At its core, this article is a list of the websites that I believe all distance learners should become familiar. They provide information, community, and shared experience.

Notice that 8 10 are three colleges. These three colleges are, for my money, the top distance learning colleges in the country. Why? They get it. They understand what distance learning is supposed to be in a way that few other colleges do. Even if you have chosen a different school, the information on their sites will be helpful to you.

1. Distancelearn.about.com. This website is part of the New York Times-owned About.com and offers a wide variety of articles and other types of information.

2. DegreeDiscussion.com. This websites is primarily for building community with other distance learners, but it has the added benefit of having real distance learning experts in residence. There is no question that cannot be answered.

3. Petersons.com/distancelearning. This website's strength is its search engine for distance learning programs.

4. BestOnlineHighSchools.com . A new site, but destined to become a useful site for students interested in earning a high school diploma online. The first site on the Internet dedicated solely to online high schools.

5. eLearners.com. A discussion forum, articles, and many colleges. A valuable site for students making the first foray into distance learning.

6. Degreeinfo.com. While this site does have some older articles, it's strength is its discussion forum (but my advice is to avoid the politics area!).

7. BAin4weeks.com. Learn how to earn a college degree very quickly. No, I don't think that you can really do it in four weeks. but you can do it in less than six months if you know how to test well.

8. Excelsior College (Excelsior.edu)

9. Charter Oak State College (CharterOak.edu)

10. Thomas Edison State College (TESC.edu)

Readers should understand that this list is only a jumping-off point for distance learning resources. Which sites will ultimately be of value to you is unclear. What is clear is that becoming a part of the distance learning world can help you become a successful online learner.

Community Service

By Sharon White

For any student, school can be a perfect setting for them to develop intellectually and emotionally in their crucial formative years. Apart from the syllabus oriented education they learn a lot about all the topics, which only accelerate their development. And the one important component that would also help in students development is community service. This thesis will discuss how community service being an important part of students education should be encouraged by schools, and importantly does the students are really interested in doing it. That is, do they undertake community services because of compulsion or really with conviction? And how schools with aid of students can effect lives of many people in a positive way through community services.

Students could do these services with perfection. Actually, school and its administrators can play their part by inoculating the spirit of community services in students, by making it a part of the student's curriculum. Many schools as well as higher educational institutes in USA are followers of this concept.

This kind of compulsive service surely has a positive spin because even though the student does it as a part of curriculum it affects the lives of people very usefully. But on the other hand, the process of compulsion comes in, because of, students lack of interest in community service. That is, apart from being burdened with academic materials, they are enticed by sports, entertainment, street groups etc.

So they show least concern for community service and general people in distress. But all the students cannot be categorized like that because there are students who are doing community services with conviction. But they may have to face another obstacle that is, time limit. Being student in a school they need to fulfil their academic works to be successful in their lives. So, to achieve success and a stable life, they have no other options but to concentrate on exams, projects etc.

So academic activities will surely limit the students time wise for community services. This being the truth, the student can surely squeeze in the time they have in between, for community services. So the schools should encourage the service minded students. Also they should promote community services as a three pronged strategy for the people in need, students themselves and for the larger community in general.

Autism, Neurotypical Children, and the Funding of Our Schools

By Lance Winslow

Our current public educational system is not set up to deal with Autistic Children and in trying to do so it is further hurting their school district budgets. You see the Autistic Children really need more one-on-one assistance; help that school districts with 20 to 30 average class sizes simply cannot do.

Without the proper special assistance we are not helping the autistic kids and there will be dire consequences down the road from this. Additionally each year more autistic children are born you see and they need more upfront assistance for longer. One parent writes;

Through our advocacy, my son is enrolled in an independent school with six other children (all who are neurotypical). Still, I see that he needs a lot of private tutoring and we're considering starting a non-profit organization, where autistic children can receive that 1:1 support. (There should also be opportunities to socialize so I'm thinking about working in concert with this independent school perhaps where the non-profit would be governed by them.). It seems difficult to launch a non-profit where the first person to benefit would be a family member. And it is doubtful that we can even raise enough money for him. The school will donate a room but we need money to pay the teacher/therapists.

One can certainly see the dilemmas here, yet something must be done to solve these issues. Perhaps you have a similar issue or have considered a way to help in such a situation. Maybe you have an answer on this issue; this is definitely one of those problems that can be solved thru the proper use of resources and working with better efficiencies of our current resources. So, consider all this in 2006.

Why ITT Tech School of Criminal Justice is not the Best Choice for you?

By Jim Greenberg

As with all other things an educational institution has its own pros and cons. This is also the case with ITT Tech. One of the ost important cons of the ITT Tech school of criminal justice is that the school is not accredited by any of the eight RA accrediting bodies. This means degrees and credits earned at ITT Tech may not find wide acceptance.

The criminal justice program offered by ITT Tech is pretty expensive and it may not be for you if you are in need of a high paying job immediately after completing your criminal justice program. Also, since many regular colleges do not accept the credits from ITT Tech, it will be a waste of time, energy, and money if you have to begin a program from scratch in the event of a relocation or some other similar situation.

An online program from ITT Tech may not be for you if you are looking for the experience of a normal classroom with teachers and classmates physically present. Though there is interaction as in a regular class, it is virtual and may not be the right choice for all. There may be certain loopholes in the agreement which might turn out to be not so pleasant at a later stage. By then it might be too late to withdraw or switch schools.

The schedule may not be what you are looking for and you may have classes during times which are inconvenient for you. This often happens when there are not enough students to justify setting up another batch. Not being in a regular classroom or college can also cause logistical problems and often getting these issues resolved becomes stressful since the communication has to be done through mails or telephone rather than one-on-one communication. These are some of the reasons why it might not be such a good idea to pursue an online criminal justice program from ITT Tech.

Jim Greenberg recommends you visit the Online Criminal Justice DegreeGuide for more information on choosing ITT Tech criminal justice program.
