Usually the number of hours of instruction required by the A.C.H.E or American Council of Hypnotist Examiners is 200 classroom hours. That is 200 hours of class work only, and does not include the time you spend studying outside of class. The specs are 300 hours for those seeking certification as a Certified Clinical Hynotherapist.
